Draft: the intake is not submitted
A Draft company is the saved starting point for a formation. Reopen it to continue the intake, review your choices and complete payment. Only Draft companies offer the draft-deletion workflow. A Draft is not evidence that a company has been formed.
Processing: the request is being handled
After successful submission and payment, the company moves to Processing. This means the request is in the review and fulfillment workflow. It does not mean the state has approved a filing, and it does not mean an EIN or service address has already been issued.
If you purchased registered agent or digital mailbox during formation, those services have their own customer-visible records and setup statuses. They are handled with the formation request, so you do not need to purchase them again simply because they are still In review.
Responding to missing information
Pending information requests appear prominently on company Overview. Choose Respond, read the request and any attachments, then provide the requested message, files, SSN/ITIN or other ID. You can add a note. Submitting changes the request to Submitted for review, not automatically Approved. If more work is needed, it returns to Pending with the reason so you can resubmit.
Active and completed work
An Active company is no longer in the formation-processing stage. An existing company added directly can also be Active; that label alone is not proof that Notorio formed it. Rely on the actual company documents and service details for filing outcomes.
If a paid request stays Draft or a purchased service is missing after refreshing, contact support with the company name and payment reference. Do not make a second payment merely to force a status change.
